Martina is an accredited police station representative having gained her accreditation in December 2014. She represents clients at the police station for a variety of offences such as public order, burglary, fraud and drug offences. She joined Burton Copeland LLP in October 2016 but has substantial experience in dealing with clients in custody and at court through her previous jobs and as a NRPSI interpreter. She is also a member of the Institute of Legal Executives and hopes to qualify as a solicitor in the near future.
She attends at the Magistrates and Crown Courts as Legal Clerk and prepares a wide range of cases.
She is fluent in English, Slovak and Czech and has a passion for a criminal defence work.
