3 year sentence for solicitor accused of £400k fraud

Louise Straw and Kim Holden represented Peter Taylor, a senior solicitor and partner in a law firm who pleaded guilty to four counts of fraud and two counts of theft. Counsel instructed was Joanna Rodikis of Barristers Chambers, St John's Buldings.

The defendant was the probate solicitor in charge of dealing with two ladies’ estates. He admitted stealing about £400,000 over a period of four or five years. He was sentenced to three years imprisonment.
