She is a qualified duty solicitor and is police station accredited, with over 10 years experience in Criminal Defence work.
She regularly appears before the Magistrates Courts in Greater Manchester and beyond, representing Defendants charged with a wide range of criminal offences.
R v B - client charged with possession of a mobile phone charger in prison. Acquitted after Trial where prison officer gave evidence.
R v C - client alleged to have assaulted a takeaway delivery driver, previous assaults on record and bad character was put beofre the Court. Proceeded to a full day Trial with an interpreter for both the complainant and prosecution witness. Client acquitted.
R v S - client alleged to have assaulted a taxi driver and acquitted.
R v C - client accused of racially aggravated s.4A POA. Racial comments made to a ticket inspector at Victoria train station. On the day of Trial, after lengthy negotiations with the prosecution, persuaded to accept a plea to a s.5 POA offence and received an 18 month conditional discharge.
