Burton Copeland proud to support Manchester Youth Zone with their Come Dine With Me challenge

At Burton Copeland, we’re passionate about giving back to our local community. That’s why we’re proud of our new charity partnership with Manchester Youth Zone (MYZ), an incredible organisation based in Harpurhey, North Manchester, that provides a safe and inspiring space for young people to thrive.

What is Manchester Youth Zone?

Manchester Youth Zone supports young people aged 8-19 (and up to 25 for those with additional needs), offering everything from sports and creative arts to mentoring and personal development. Their mission is to help young people build confidence, resilience, and real opportunities for the future.

For us at Burton Copeland, standing alongside MYZ means supporting the next generation in our city, helping to open doors and empower them to achieve their goals.

The Launch of FAKEAWAYS

To celebrate our partnership, we were delighted to take part in the launch of MYZ’s brand-new series: FAKEAWAYS, where young people recreate their favourite meals, MYZ style.

Kicking off the series was none other than the ultimate fast-food classic: the MYZ Big Mac.

Our very own Deborah Jackson and Rebecca Lloyd joined the judging panel, alongside a representative from the JD Foundation. The standard was high, and the judges were seriously impressed with the creativity and effort on show.

As Deborah said: “They’ve all been really good! Well done to them!”

And we couldn’t agree more, the young people smashed it!
