Burton Copeland are delighted to announce our new amazing charities who we will be raising funds for in the coming year.
Burton Copeland has always been heavily involved in fundraising for both local, national, and international charities which have been close to our hearts. This year we decided to give staff the opportunity to nominate charities and then to all vote for their favourites. In total 12 charities were nominated but when the nominations were delivered to staff and the votes were counted there were two clear winner.
Practice Director Deborah Jackson said,
“It was intended that the one with the top number of votes would win, but these two charities came out on top and well ahead of the rest so we decided to choose them both”.
A number of events are intended to be held as fundraisers throughout the year with all staff taking part, including sponsored walks, bake off, quizzes and much more. All of the monies raised by staff will be split equally between the charities.
Managing Partner Louise Straw said,
“Both of these charities make a huge difference to so many lives, with the help of our staff we hope to raise much needed funds so that they can continue the crucial work that they do long into the future”
