Law month we reported on a campaign by the law society which started with an animated video telling the story of Peter, a healthcare professional who had been accused of a criminal offence and his struggles through the justice system, both emotionally and financially. Although a fictional character, we see stories like that of Peter regularly and support the society’s campaign.

Today the law society has started a petition to call upon government to increase investment into the crumbling system and the society reports that the campaign has received backing from a number of MP’s already. Clearly signatures to the petition can only assist in increasing the support of other MP’s.
