Joseph Davies

Paralegal

Joseph joined Burton Copeland in October 2025, having developed a strong foundation in law through both academic study and practical experience. He graduated from Liverpool John Moores University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), before completing the LPC Masters at the University of Law in Manchester in 2023.

Before joining the firm, Joseph built a strong foundation of experience across a broad range of legal disciplines at two other law firms. Between 2023 and 2024, he worked within both the immigration and personal injury departments, developing a diverse skill set. He subsequently moved to another firm, where from 2024 to 2025 he was part of a specialist Court of Protection team.

Despite this broad experience, Joseph has always been driven by a strong ambition to work in criminal law and is embracing the opportunity to pursue that passion at Burton Copeland, working alongside extremely experienced Partners, Solicitors and Legal Executives. He is currently undertaking further training with the aim of qualifying as an accredited police station advisor in the near future. Alongside his varied role at the firm, he is also gaining practical courtroom experience as a clerk at the Magistrates’ Court.

Joseph aspires to qualify as a solicitor by 2028/2029 and to continue developing his legal career within criminal law.
